Same-Same but Different

Same-Same but Different—Hanesan maibee Ketak-Ketak, in Tetun language— is an experimental documentary that follows José Ramos–Horta —the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and former President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste—during a trip around the country. The film explores the concept of peace through a series of incidental narratives, interviews and performances with different individuals framed around the context of peace-building in the youngest nation in Asia.
